Our client is well established not-for-profit organisation working with some of the most vulnerable communities in NSW. Reporting to a talented and engaging CFO, this is an ideal opportunity for those looking to work for a leader in the NFP space.

Located just 3 minutes from Central station they have a warm and friendly, open-plan office environment. While the role is mostly office-based, they will offer some WFH flexibility for the right person.

The Role

As the Finance Manager, you will be the right hand to the CFO. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Manage the preparation and finalisation of all financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Manage a team of 4

  • Supervise AP, AR, reconciliations and GL maintenance

  • Monitor and report on cashflow and expenditure

  • Prepare reports for senior management

  • Oversee the payroll function

  • Manage all statutory, investment and funding reporting

  • Manage external relationships including auditors and banks

  • Other ad hoc duties as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Manager role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

  • CA / CPA qualified

  • Strong technical accounting skills

  • Experience in managing, mentoring or supervising junior team members

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Candidates with experience in Chartered will be highly regarded
