We are a unique, friendly, driven, potentially wacky but definitely talented, bunch of people. Our team here at Richard Lloyd comes from all corners of the globe. We are a diverse team with an even wider array of personalities – but that’s where our success comes from.

We work hard for both ourselves and each other with genuine care factors about what we do daily. And, most importantly, we love the buzz of finding people new jobs.

Since starting the business in December 2008, our track record for creating successful and long-term business partnerships with our clients has led to an ever-increasing demand for our services and we were incredibly lucky that the pandemic didn’t stop us. With a growing reputation and big ambitions, we are always on the lookout for great people with whom we would love to work and vice versa.

Here at Richard Lloyd, we celebrated our 15th anniversary in December 2023, and have seen significant year-on-year growth in the last few years, despite the pandemic. At Richard Lloyd we realise that everyone is unique and are motivated in different ways. Training & upskilling

Every new starter, either a rookie or a seasoned campaigner will spend time with our Senior Recruiters and Directors to learn everything there is to know about Recruitment, Finance and how we do what we do. We have regular one-on-one and group training sessions across sales, accounting terminology and how to get the most from our tech-stack. With over 140 years of combined recruitment experienced across the business, and with an average tenure of around 7 years at Richard Lloyd we boast not only fabulous stability (really rare for the industry) but a team of Senior recruiters that are seriously good at what they do. And even better at passing those learnings on.


We may not have a full-scale snooker table or an in house Barista churning out triple soy lattes, but we do find other ways of keeping our staff happy including up to 5 weeks annual leave, birthdays off, and a highly flexible work environment (while still keeping the culture connected, and bubbling along). We regularly have teams events, both locally and nationally from simple community minded events like cleaning up the beach, to swimming with whale sharks in Western Australia.

Commission structure

We have worked hard to ensure our Commission structure is: 1. Simple. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand it. 2. Paid monthly. Keeping your cashflow constant. 3. Generous. We are confident our scheme is one of the best on the market.
