The Role

Reporting through to the Head of Corporate Services, this role will lead and develop a highly transactional finance team across the Payable, Receivable and Funding functions.

More specifically, it will:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of AP, AR and Resident Funding teams.
  • Improve and maintain quality controls, processes and reporting across functions.
  • Ensure timely, accurate invoice processing and compliance with government and organisational policies.
  • Lead, develop and performance-manage a team; conduct regular team meetings and annual performance appraisals.
  • Drive Continuous Quality Improvement activities and maintain Health & Safety and Risk Management compliance.
  • Liaise with CFO, executive team, regional managers and village staff on budgets, reporting and operational matters.

Your Background

Our client is looking for:

  • Ideally, extensive experience within the Aged Care space. Candidates from other government-funded services (such as Childcare or NDIS) may be considered. 
  • Experience within AR or Shared Services Team Leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to encourage and support staff, while fostering the understanding of Continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Strong computer skills with practical Microsoft Office knowledge and experience.
