The Role

This multifaceted role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and executive support, driving program efficiency, governance, and financial sustainability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and expenditure management to support informed decision-making.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, oversee grant acquittals, and ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop compelling funding submissions and manage the end-to-end grant lifecycle, including reporting, milestones, and KPI tracking.
  • Drive the effective use and continuous improvement of CRM and reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support governance and compliance activities, including Board reporting, risk management, and maintenance of the key register

Your Background

The ideal candidate's background will reflect the below key criteria:

  • Professionally qualified, e.g., CPA or CA.
  • 4+ years leading a broad finance role where you have experience managing the full grant lifecycle, from funding applications and submissions through to reporting, acquittals, and compliance.
  • Strong IT literacy with highly developed skills in CRM systems and Excel.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
