Company Background

Our client is a leading financial services business focusing on delivering their services across a range of industries (B2B), with operations across APAC, Europe and the USA.

They are seeking additional support in their Sydney office to guide them through a busy period, as well as provide additional support to the core finance team on a day-to-day basis.

The Role

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will focus on:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS/AASB
• System reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies
• Month-end & Year-end closing procedures
• Bank reconciliations

Your Background

To become a valued member of the finance team, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediate availability
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, etc.)
• Strong working IFRS knowledge
• Experience working within a commercial business as a Financial or Senior Financial Accountant
• Reconciliation experience
• Strong investigation skills and the ability to work independently
• Experience within the Financial Services industry is highly regarded
