The Role 

In your role as Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role within the team. You will undertake a broad range of responsibilities and get heavily involved in the full-function accounts and reporting for your clients.

More specific duties in this role will include.

• Work from top to bottom with oversight of the finance function for your assets – Journals and month-end tasks, through to the initial preparation of board reporting for the entities under your portfolio
• Participation in tax and statutory reporting tasks
• Providing detailed monthly and quarterly reporting for different investments
• Becoming the ‘go-to’ person for a variety of operational stakeholders
• Assisting the senior finance leaders with project work including acquisitions, restructures and financial analysis

Your Background

Our client is very mindful of ensuring consistency in the team culture, so we are looking for Financial Accountants who:

• Are CA or CPA qualified or studiers
• Are curious and inquisitive, someone who naturally asks ‘why’, this will be reflected in the achievements on your resume!
• Are currently Financial Accountants with good tenure on their resume
• Are ambitious but also happy to put the work in to achieve their career goals
• Will be credible in presentation and communication to work closely with the CFO, CEO and senior stakeholders across the business.
