Boutique Tax & Advisory Role

The Company

A well-established boutique accounting practice in Sydney CBD is seeking a capable, client-facing Accountant to join a small, friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys end-to-end compliance work, building client relationships, and working in a supportive, “family feel” environment.

After an initial settling-in period, the business is open to flexibility/hybrid working (once you’re up to speed).

The Role

• Prepare tax returns – individuals, SME’s, SMSF
• Preparation of year-end financial statements
• Liaising with clients and following up on outstanding information
• Supporting clients with accounting-related queries
• Ad hoc reporting and management accounting where required
• Occasional bookkeeping support

Your Background

You will ideally have:

• 2+ years of experience in public practice
• Solid tax compliance exposure
• Strong and confident communication skills to liaise with clients
• Xero experience will be highly regarded
• Initiative and proactive approach to work and development
