Financial Accountant - Investment and Infrastructure - CBD

The Role 

With its broad remit, coupled with the continuing expansion of the business, there will be significant opportunities for your position as Financial Accountant to grow.

In your position, you will play a pivotal role within the team. Initially, you will be given time to fully understand various complex investment assets with the aim of taking full ownership of them from a reporting perspective as you develop. More specific duties in this role will include:

  • Ownership of the financial accounting and reporting processes.
  • Management reporting.
  • Providing detailed monthly and quarterly reporting with commentary for different assets.
  • Consolidated reporting.
  • Exposure to project budgeting.
  • Cashflow Forecasting.
  • Annual and interim group audits.
  • As you grow in the knowledge your duties will evolve and can move in a variety of directions.

Your Background

To be considered for this appealingly broad and challenging Financial Accountant role, you must possess the majority of the following attributes:

  • Degree qualified with a strong academic track record (credit average as a minimum).
  • Part or Fully qualified CPA / CA status.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ambitious to learn and grow your career within a high-performance culture.
  • Have experience working as either a Senior Assistant Accountant or Financial Accountant.
  • Our client will consider FTM candidates from an audit firm or public practice accounting background who want to start their career in a corporate business.
