They have amazing offices in the CBD, with WFH options of 1-2 days a week depending on the business needs. 

The Role

This is a broad role supporting a divisional Finance Manager with support from the Financial Controller. 

• Balance sheet reconciliations 
• Month-end journal preparation 
• Month-end reconciliation and variance analysis (including specific commentary for US meeting) 
• Job reconciliations
• BAS and CAS 
• Weekly cashflow submissions
• Quarterly budgeting (including sensitivity modelling) 
• Year‐end reconciliations 
• Job reconciliations 

Your Background

The right Financial Accountant for our client will be:

• An experienced Assistant Accountant (3-4 years) looking for a step up or a Financial Accountant looking for a lateral move
• Someone who has/is working in a smaller business with a wide range of tasks
• Able to demonstrate experience with P&L reports and assisting with the budgeting process
• An excellent communicator and able to confidently approach senior executives in the business. These are key criteria!
