The Role

This Financial Accountant position will be heavily involved in the revenue side, your responsibilities will include:

• Validate and issue high volumes of invoices and ensure accurate receipting

• Perform bank and revenue reconciliations and track fund receipts

• Prepare and reconcile key revenue-related balance sheet accounts

• Process month-end journals and intercompany revenue transactions

• Interpret funding contracts to ensure correct revenue recognition (AASB 15/1058)

• Maintain the aged receivables register

• Support external audit queries and provide revenue-related insights to management

Your Background

To be considered for this opportunity, they are looking for someone with:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue-related roles

• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders

• A strong understanding of AASB 15 and AASB 105B accounting standards will be highly regarded

• Strong Microsoft Excel experience
