The Role

As the Senior Accountant, your role will be broad and varied and include the following duties (but not limited to):

• Manage the full month-end & year-end process, including preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements
• Monthly reporting, including variance analysis, P&L and cashflow reports
• Prepare client profitability, WIP & utilisation reporting
• Prepare budgets & forecasting at department, entity & group level
• Prepare BAS, GST, FBT and group tax returns
• Work with the auditors to complete the audit process
• Suggest & implement process improvement initiatives, system upgrades and updated reporting templates
• Ad hoc duties and analysis as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior Accountant role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

• Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, etc)
• Strong accounting experience, including financial statements, forecasting and P&L analysis experience
• Advanced Excel skills – minimum VLOOKUP, pivot tables
• Great communication skills
• Previous experience in legal, financial services or professional services will be highly regarded
• Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders
