After your first few weeks in the role, you will be able to work from home, 1 day per week.

The Role

Your role as Finance Process Reengineering & Systems Transformation Lead will include (not limited to):

• Initial hands-on ‘do-ing’ of tasks to understand current workflows before swiftly moving on to reviewing and improving finance workflows across AP, AR, payroll, banking and expenses
• Support system implementation and migration activities
• Develop finance procedures, controls and process documentation
• Assist with management reporting and creating scalable finance structures
• Remain hands-on across transactional finance during the transition period

Your Background

In order to be considered for this Finance Process Reengineering & Systems Transformation Lead, you will meet the following criteria:

• Professionally qualified, e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
• Strong hands-on finance operations knowledge covering AP, AR, payroll and banking and knowing what ‘great’ looks like
• Experience in improving, automating or building finance processes
• Exposure to accounting system implementations or migrations
• Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a changing environment
• Not-for-profit experience beneficial but not essential
• Able to work in the Northern Beaches location and willing to commit to the full length of the 6-month contract
