Lead Global Finance Transformation

The Role

Reporting into a supportive and talented FD and collaborating with a local Director, your duties as the Financial Controller will be broad and varied. This will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day accounting function and being a key support to the FD
  • Managing all financial accounting, including month-end, year-end and financial statements
  • Provide reporting to Global HQ
  • Manage the local audit process
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and local tax – prepare taxes, including GST, PAYG, FBT, and corporate income tax returns
  • Supporting the budgeting process
  • Manage 4 accounting staff
  • Be involved with process improvements and automations, including new system implementation

Your Background

This Financial Controller role is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within a growing business. To be considered for this FC position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Professionally qualified (e.g. CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Have established experience at the Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager level
  • Previously worked within a global organisation, preferably in a relatable industry
  • Ideally, have experience managing the year-end and audit processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to liaise confidently with stakeholders
  • A proven track record of achievement in process improvement projects or systems implementation / automations is a prerequisite
  • SAP experience will be highly regarded
  • An ability to speak French will be highly regarded
