Finance Officer - NFP - Ryde/North Shore

The Company

Our client is a well-regarded, not-for-profit firm that works within the educational sector. With onsite parking available, our client will provide a great platform in which you will take your skill set to new levels. They encourage their staff to really take ownership of their responsibilities and they are now on the lookout for a Finance Officer to become the next asset to their team.

The Role 

As the Finance Officer, you will enjoy working within a finance team and your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): 

• Full function Accounts Payable processing
• Fixed asset and CAPEX maintenance
• Month-end assistance including reconciliations, journals, and accruals
• Assisting with AR duties when required
• Ad hoc administrative duties

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Officer position you should have the following skills and attributes:

• Degree qualification 
• Have industry experience working previously in a not-for-profit or education industry 
• Experience with both Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable processes 
• Confident in your verbal and written communication skills
