Accounts Officer

Broad accounts role in a growing Professional Services firm

The Company

Our client is a well-established professional services business with an excellent reputation and continuing growth plans.  

They are a highly-regarded SME with over 120 staff and a presence across Australia and New Zealand. They have plans to continue their growth and expand their market presence in already established markets and services. 

As a business they offer a hybrid working arrangement (work from home two days per week) and strive to ensure a collaborative and professional environment for all staff.  

The Role

Reporting into a talented FC, your role as Accounts Officer will enjoy an appealing breadth of responsibilities, including but not limited to: 

• Full function AP
• Billing and matter management
• Preparing WIP reports
• Bookkeeping including reconciliations
• Liaise with external payroll providers to ensure payroll is completed
• Ad hoc tasks to assist the FC as needed

Your Background

• Bookkeeping experience including reconciliations, AP & AR
• Strong Excel experience (pivot tables/Vlookups etc)
• Experience in a professional services environment
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work in busy and fast-paced environment
