The Role

Your tasks as the Assistant Accountant will include (but will not be limited to):

• Accounts Payable (invoice processing, PO matching, payment runs)
• Accounts Receivable
• Full-function payroll processing
• Month-end (assist with balance sheet reconciliations, journal posting, P&L reconciliations)
• As you become more confident in the role, you will be able to take on more duties.

Your Background

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• At least 3 years in an all-round accounts position
• Degree qualified
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Xero experience
• Product-based industry experience is preferred (but not a must-have)
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Full Australian working rights
