The Role

As the Assistant Accountant, your role will be broad and varied and include the following duties (but not limited to):

• Support the month-end close, including journals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing fixed assets and supporting financial reporting processes
• Bank reconciliations for multiple entities
• Daily reconciliations of loan statements and associated journals
• Managing disbursements – including release and reconciliations of funds
• Manage AP office expenses
• Ad hoc tasks as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

• CPA/CA qualification or significantly part-qualified
• Strong month-end experience across journals and reconciliations
• Great communication skills
• Previous experience in legal, financial services or professional services will be highly regarded
