The Role

This is a newly created role reporting to a supportive Head of Finance. Your duties as the Assistant Accountant will include:

• Month-end reporting
• General ledger maintenance
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Fixed Asset management
• Assisting with BAS preparation

Your Background

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you must possess the following attributes:

• Be degree-qualified
• Possess 2-3 years of working experience performing month-end duties (journals, general ledger reconciliations, accruals, cash flow) at the Assistant Accountant level
• Excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Immediately available or on a short notice period
• Willing to commit to the 12-month contract
