Our client is a well-known agency with a rich history, great reputation and a fantastic portfolio of talent. They have a number of successful brands under their umbrella and have exciting plans for the future.

An opportunity has come up to work with the Director, supporting them with all of the day-to-day/monthly accounting tasks while they manage the business.

You will enjoy the dynamic elements of agency life, the people & personalities, new talent, PR campaigns, collaborating on campaigns and all the other ebbs & flows of the industry.  

They are located close to public transport and have one day of WFH.

The Role

Working with a highly competent & financially savvy business owner, you will be responsible for:

• Debtor data processing and ledger maintenance, including invoicing, dealing with client queries, making invoice amendments where necessary, receipting and creating credit notes for client tax withheld at the source, reconciling ledgers and debt collection.
• Model/talent ledger maintenance, including generating payments for models, processing expense deductions, and dealing with model queries.
• GL and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collating annual payment summaries for models.
• General creditor ledger maintenance, including processing of supplier invoices, including expenses for models such as composite cards, and dealing with creditor queries.
• Eventually this role can also take on the payroll function from the Director.

Your Background

The right candidate for our client will have/be:-

• Trustworthy, reliable and able to work autonomously.
• Have excellent communication skills & will be able to provide answers & solutions to the talent and non-financial stakeholders.
• Have strong AP & AR skills and will also be able to assist with the month-end preparation and year-end tasks.
• If you can start immediately or are on short notice, that would be great, but not necessary!
