As the Financial Controller you have the chance to join this high performing environment in a hands-on, complex and interesting role, whilst working closely with senior executives.
You will report to a talented and experienced CFO. Your role will evolve due to the nature of the business and continual growth bringing up new and exciting challenges.
This hands-on role will encompass all financial management and reporting for the entire Group. Responsibilities will include:
Full accounting function and maintenance of accounts for all legal entities and managed investments
Banking and cash flow management
BAS and PAYG compliance
Bank covenant reporting
Amortisation schedules for properties and fixed assets
Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
Project reporting and modelling, including comparison to feasibility and IRR analysis
Internal monthly management reporting
Monthly reporting to external shareholders
Handling ad-hoc reports for external shareholders
Annual workpapers for external Accountants
Working with external auditors
Family office accounting responsibilities
We are keen to chat with talented Financial Controllers and Finance Managers (or equivalent) who meet the majority of the following criteria:
Experience taking ownership of the aforementioned responsibilities
Professionally qualified (e.g. CA, CPA, ACA)
Experience working in a similar role for a family office, privately owned property developer or investment business (or related) will be highly regarded, as would a background incorporating chartered
Demonstrable track record of progression and achievement
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to be able to effectively liaise with numerous stakeholders
You will enjoy rolling your sleeves up and ‘doing’ and be comfortable working in a small, close-knit office environment in a broad hands on role
Both part time (32 hours across 5 days) and full time applications will be considered.
