They are seeking an immediately available Senior Payroll Officer to join the team on a 3-month contract based in Sydney Olympic Park. Working alongside an established payroll function, this role will support key EOFY activities, payroll compliance and project-based work during a busy and important period for the business.

The Role

Your duties as the Senior Payroll Officer will include, but are not limited to:

• EOFY payroll data reconciliation across gross earnings, PAYG withholding and superannuation
• STP finalisation, including FBT-related checks, and ensuring income statements are ready for employees
• Data validation and system checking for pay day super and other payroll changes
• Support annual pay increases, acquisition-related payroll validation and broader payroll tasks as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior Payroll Officer position, you will ideally meet most of the following criteria:

• Immediately available
• Proven payroll experience across a payroll of at least 500 employees
• Experience using a tier-one payroll system such as SAP ECP, SAP ECC, Chris21, Micropay or Aurion
• Strong technical payroll knowledge and a clear understanding of data flow between systems
• Availability to work 5 days per week in the office and start immediately
