Our client is a well-established services organisation operating nationally across multiple business units. With a workforce of approximately 3,500 employees and subcontractors, the business continues to grow and is strengthening its finance and payroll capability.
These are hands-on positions. The organisation is looking to bring greater ownership of the payroll process locally and appoint an experienced payroll professional to manage the end-to-end function.
Key responsibilities include:
• End-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy and Award compliance
• Managing statutory obligations including STP, PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax and LSL
• Maintaining payroll records, including salary adjustments, deductions and leave balances
• Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
• Performing reconciliations, payroll audits and supporting reporting requirements
• Supporting junior payroll staff and assisting with process improvements
To be successful in this role, ideally, you will have:
• Proven end-to-end hands-on payroll experience in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Ability to work full-time in the office in Miranda
