Cash Reconciliations & Receivables Specialist

Company Background

Our client is a successful global Financial Services business with operations across Europe, Asia and Australia. With modern CBD based offices, this role represents a unique opportunity that includes reconciliations, accounts receivable and exciting project work. 

The Role

As the Reconciliations Analyst, you will sit in a corporate office environment and report to an approachable manager. Your duties will include:

  • High-volume cash reconciliations
  • Investigation of variances
  • Account reconciliations
  • Accounts receivable (allocations, receipting and collections)
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis to support the broader finance & operations team
  • Month-end support, including GL reconciliations and journal posting when required
  • Process improvement

Your Background

To be considered for this Reconciliations Analyst role, you will meet the majority of the following:

  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a similar role (high volume recs & AR)
  • Prior experience working for a medium-to-large business
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, and IF function)  
  • Financial services/insurance experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
