The Role

This Accounts Officer role reports to a Finance Manager and would be responsible for:

• Contract & Process Alignment – Ensure internal systems and procedures match contractual terms; review and reconcile agreements, rebates, and direct debits for accuracy.
• Collections & Credit Control – Manage the collection and allocation of payments, maintain an accurate credit diary, and follow up consistently on outstanding balances.
• Account Reconciliation – Regularly review and balance accounts, resolving discrepancies related to payments, deductions, and rebates through close coordination with internal teams.
• Debtor Reporting – Prepare aged debtor reports, monitor DSO performance, present debt status at monthly reviews, and recommend actions for overdue or doubtful accounts.
• Customer Service – Act as the primary contact for billing, rebate, and payment enquiries; maintain clear records of interactions and provide timely, professional responses.

Your Background

To be considered for this role, the MUST haves are:

• 2 years’ experience minimum as a Credit Officer or AR Clerk (must have).
• Great English communication skills & a team player who is happy to help out to support their colleagues.
• Full working rights to work permanently in Australia.

It's desirable that you also have a relevant tertiary qualification.
