Company Background

Our client is a high-growth builder and operator of renewable energy assets in Australia. With a strong track record of success, multiple developments in the pipeline and a strong leadership team, they are looking to add a purchasing Officer to the team to help build into their next stage of business.

The Role

This AP Officer position is a 3-month temporary role with the opportunity for extension. It is a broad role in a small team, reporting to a talented Finance Manager who will guide your progress. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Management of supplier relationships
• Creation of POs 
• Negotiate purchasing terms with contractors and suppliers 
• Manage procurement budgets and ensure compliance with procurement policy 

Your Background

To be considered for this Purchasing Officer role, you should have prior experience in broad Purchasing Officer positions and possess the following attributes:

• Immediately available
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia for the next 3 months
• Experience in purchasing and procurement positions previously
• Exposure to SAP or Ariba
