This position will work closely with the Payroll Manager and broader payroll function, supporting both day-to-day payroll activities and the implementation of a new payroll system (SAP). The role will play a key part in testing, documentation, and process improvement as the organisation transitions to its new payroll platform.

On Offer:

  • 2 days a week work from home
  • Flexible working hours
  • Opportunity to further develop system implementation experience

The Role

As the Payroll Systems Analyst, you will initially report into an experienced and supportive payroll manager, work closely with the implementation team, and your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Contribute to payroll project meetings and support the delivery of key project milestones
  • Develop and execute system testing, including SIT, UAT and PPRT scenarios
  • Prepare payroll data from the legacy system for testing and go-live activities
  • Reconcile payroll data across legacy and new systems to ensure accuracy
  • Document processes, including SOPs, training materials and process maps
  • Work closely with the payroll team and stakeholders to support the system transition
  • Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to strengthen payroll operations
  • Assist with training and support for payroll users during the implementation phase

Your Background

To be considered for this Payroll Systems Analyst position, ideally, you will meet the following criteria:

  • End-to-end payroll processing experience
  • Experience in payroll awards and/or EBAs
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
