They have enjoyed continued success and growth globally over the last few years with high-profile and large-scale infrastructure projects. They are currently expanding internationally and in need of an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team. The Role

This is a newly created Financial Accountant position within the corporate finance team. You will be responsible for the managing the funds’ financial and performance reporting. More specifically this will be:

  • Reporting processes, preparing monthly management accounts, trial balances and reconciliations
  • Fund accounting including journals, accruals and reconciliations across all fund entities
  • Prepare periodic fund accounts, NAV statements and fund performance metrics
  • Investor Reporting – investment briefs, distribution forecasts and calculations, investor capital statements
  • Preparing tax information and regulatory compliance

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Approximately 3 + years of working experience in a similar Accounting role with exposure to funds
  • An Accounting/Finance Degree with good academic grades
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude to learn and adapt
  • Hold permanent working rights (Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship)
