Financial Accountant - Manufacturing

Company Background

Our client is an impressive, fast-growing manufacturing business on an upward trajectory with private equity backing and a focus on acquisitive growth in the upcoming years.

With their growth, they are looking to strengthen their corporate function by bringing a competent and confident Senior Accountant to join their close-knit finance team, initially on a temporary basis with a view to longer-term opportunities down the track.

The Role

As the Senior Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and Finance Director in delivering the following:

• Month-end journals and accruals
• Financial reporting for 5+ entities
• Reviewing accounts payable and receivable
• FBT, IAS and BAS
• Assist with a company-wide system implementation

Your Background

To become a valuable member of the finance function, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediately available (or short notice)
• Prior experience using Xero (bonus points for NetSuite as well)
• Experience driving a month-end process autonomously
• Self-starting attitude
• Experience within manufacturing is highly regarded, but not essential
