Company Background

Our client is a leading entertainment & retail organisation experiencing a period of significant growth. To support that growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to improve their finance processes and systems making them fit for purpose. Reporting to an ambitious and passionate CFO, this is a chance to add real value to this exciting business.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, this role will be critical in making improvements to the processes and systems. The key duties & responsibilities will include: 

• Proactively suggest and implement process improvement initiatives
• Work with the finance team to clear any backlogs to bring the accounts up to date
• Work with system owners to improve information flow between systems
• Develop improved reporting packs including monthly management reports and consolidated reporting
• Work with the CFO on budgeting and forecasting processes

Your Background

To be considered for the role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

• Recognised qualifications in Accounting, Finance, and Commercial coupled with CA / CPA (or equivalent) 
• Strong track record in completing process improvement projects
• Excellent reporting experience
• Experience integrating systems
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with non-finance stakeholders
