This is a small, friendly, and progressive organisation with a welcoming culture and a calm, supportive manager. Based in the CBD with WFH opportunities, they are seek an immediately available Accounts Officer to join the team to assist them through this period of growth.

The Role

• Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of a hands-on accounts function, including:
• Accounts payable – invoice processing, fortnightly payment runs, approval support
• Accounts receivable – raising and managing invoices, collections, and membership invoicing/renewals
• Managing and coding credit card transactions
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monitoring and managing the accounts inbox

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Officer role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediately available (or no longer than 1 week notice) with full-time working rights
• Prior experience as an Accounts/Finance Officer / Bookkeeper, AP & AR
• Strong communication skills and confidence working in a direct, fast-moving business
• Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417) holders are welcome to apply
• Intermediate Excel skills (v/x look-ups, pivot tables)
• Xero experience will be prioritised
