Commercial Impact Across ANZ Operations

Company Background

Our client is a well-established global organisation operating across multiple regions with a strong presence in ANZ. The business has a sophisticated finance structure and continues to invest heavily in systems, automation and commercial capability.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Ownership of month-end close and balance sheet integrity (liaising with offshore shared services)
• Tax compliance across GST, FBT and income tax, including tax effect accounting
• Audit coordination and statutory reporting
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to drive performance, insights and decision-making

Your Background

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Strong technical grounding (similar to US GAAP / IFRS / SOX / tax frameworks)
• Experience across financial accounting, with exposure or interest in FP&A
• Strong communication skills — able to influence and partner with non-finance stakeholders
• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP or similar), plus advanced Excel
