Broad Finance Role Opportunity

Based in the office five days per week, this opportunity offers the chance to join a small, high-performing finance team within a professional, mature, and focused environment.

The Role

Reporting to a hands-on and highly experienced CFO, you will take on a broad Assistant Accountant position with genuine potential to transition into a permanent role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Full-function accounts payable
• Bank reconciliations
• Supporting month-end processes, including journals, prepayments and accruals
• Supporting accounts receivable function
• Assisting with ad hoc finance, operational and general office tasks

Your Background

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant position, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediately available (or no longer than 1 week's notice) with full-time working rights
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience at this level
• Working Holiday Visa (WHV – subclass 417) holders are welcome to apply
• Strong and confident communication skills
• Intermediate Excel skills (v/x look-ups, pivot tables)
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative
