Broad Finance Role in a Global Creative Business

The Role

This role supports the overseas shared services team & the local finance team with the following tasks

• Accurately input supplier invoices into the finance system
• Code invoices to correct GL accounts, cost centres, and client job numbers
• Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained before processing
• Submit coded and approved invoices to the overseas shared services team
• Respond to queries from shared services regarding coding or approvals
• Ensure transactions are processed in line with group deadlines and SLAs
• Bank reconciliations
• Ensure all invoices for the period are processed before close
• Assist in preparing accrual listings for unprocessed invoices
• Support prepayment schedules and updates

Your Background

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Between 2- 5 years of accounting experience
• AP and reconciliations experience
• Fluent English communication skills – written & verbal
• An outgoing, positive personality and someone eager to learn
• A visa to work permanently in Australia (485 with18 months+ left can be considered)
