AP Officer - Import/Export

The Company

An established import–export group with several subsidiaries, our client manages the full value chain from bringing innovative products into Australia through to retail and after-sales support.

Our client is located in the Sydney CBD, near a train station. On offer is an ongoing temporary role with great job security.

The Role

Reporting directly to a supportive Head of Finance, this role is responsible for full-function, end-to-end accounts payable, including:

• Managing the entire AP process from invoice entry through to payment runs
• Handling supplier queries and performing supplier reconciliations
• Preparing and maintaining accurate AP records and assisting with the month-end close
• Supporting continuous improvement of AP processes and controls

Your Background

To be considered for this AP position, you will have:

• At least 2 years of previous experience in an AP or Accounts all-rounder role.
• Xero or MYOB software experience is highly regarded (not a must)
• Product-based background is highly regarded (not a must)
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• You must have excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with all levels of the business and address queries from internal and external stakeholders in a friendly and approachable manner.
