Standalone Payroll Operations Specialist

Company Background

Our client is a “for purpose” business who focus on bettering the lives of people living with impairments all across the Sydney area. They are seeking a temporary, standalone Payroll Officer to join their team and support the finance team and the business through a period of leave. The role offers flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home.

The Role

As the sole Payroll Officer, you will manage:

• Fortnightly payroll for 300-350 employees (mostly permanent)
• Processing new starters, terminations
• Calculating leave balances
• Managing payroll tax and superannuation
• Monitoring timesheets through Humanforce
• Answering all payroll-related queries

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediately available (or available from the 9th March)
• Prior experience in a standalone payroll position
• Experience with Micropay is essential
• Prior EBA/Award interpretation experience
