Payroll Officer - 6-week Temporary Role
Company Background
Our client is a “for purpose” business that focuses on bettering the lives of people living with impairments all across the Sydney area. They are seeking a temporary, standalone Payroll Officer to join their team and support the finance team and the business through a period of leave.
The Role
As the sole Payroll Officer, you will manage:
- Fortnightly payroll for 300-350 employees (mostly permanent)
- Processing new starters, terminations
- Calculating leave balances
- Managing payroll tax and superannuation
- Monitoring timesheets through Humanforce
- Answering all payroll-related queries
Your Background
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Immediately available (or available from the 13th October)
- Prior experience in a standalone payroll position
- Experience with Micropay and/or Humanforce is highly regarded, but not essential
- EBA/Award interpretation experience (SCHADS is advantageous)
