Company Background

Our client is a trusted Not-for-Profit organisation who have been supporting people living with impairments not only in their local Sydney area, but across multiple states. They have been in operation for 30+ years and have a range of services in operation.

They have recently undergone a structural change within the corporate side of the business and are seeking a passionate and switched-on person to join their payroll team. Reporting to a knowledgeable Payroll Manager and working closely with the finance and people & culture teams.

The Role

As the Payroll Officer, you will focus on:

• Reviewing and processing timesheets (under the SCHADS award)
• Maintaining employee records
• Supporting the Payroll Manager in weekly and monthly payroll processing
• Assisting with PAYG, Superannuation, 3rd party payments
• Responding to payroll queries

Your Background

To be considered for this Payroll Officer position, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediate availability or a short notice period
• Experience with the SCHADS award (Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Award)
• Some experience with payroll processing (either as your whole role, or part of your role)
• Looking for part-time hours
