Company Background

Our client is a state government-operated agency that oversees the management of multiple commercial, cultural and historical precincts across NSW. They are seeking a confident and experienced Management Accountant to join their team to support them through a busy period.

The Role

As the Management Accountant, you will focus on:

• Monthly performance reporting and project status updates
• Oversight of financial transactions
• Forecasting and analysis on projects to aid decision making
• Preparation of budgets
• Monthly management and financial reporting

Your Background

To be considered a strong candidate for this position, you will have the following skills and attributes: 

• Immediate availability
• Professionally qualified (CA, CPA, CIMA, etc.)
• Experience within the public sector is highly desirable
• Strong skills across both financial reporting & budgeting and forecasting
• Experience with project budgets is highly advantageous
