The Role

As the Graduate Accountant, you will be working in a talented finance team reporting to a Finance Manager who thrives on developing and mentoring her team. Your duties will include the following:

• Perform daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable management and bank reconciliations

• Prepare monthly management reports

• Process monthly payroll

• Assist with tax-related obligations - BAS, FBT, payroll tax, profit tax and liaising with external tax advisors

• Assist with the annual financial audit

As you continue to grow and become more confident, you will be given more accounting responsibilities to learn and take on.

Your Background

To be considered for this Graduate role, you must have:

• A minimum of 6 months' accounting experience

• Degree qualified with strong academic achievements -  distinction average WAM is required

• Possess full working rights (i.e., Hold a Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
