The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and working as a key member of the senior leadership team, the Financial Controller will lead the finance function and play a central role in supporting the company’s strategic direction. With a core focus on FP&A, your responsibilities will stretch across all aspects of the accounting function, including (but not limited to):

• Own the end-to-end finance function, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Become a trusted business partner to both internal and external stakeholders
• Play a lead role in developing and implementing commercial strategy
• Oversee cash flow, financial governance, and regulatory compliance
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Lead process improvement and finance systems optimisation
• Work with external advisors on tax, audit and compliance matters
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team over time

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Controller role, you will ideally have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Experience in a broad finance role covering FP&A and Financial Control
• Experience in high-growth environments
• A background in financial services or a regulated environment (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong commercial acumen, hands-on financial management capability and attention to detail
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to challenge, lead and contribute at an executive level
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where your input will shape the future direction of the business
