Finance & Payroll Officer - NFP

Company Background

Our client is a Not-for-Profit who have been in operation and servicing their local community & clients for over 30 years. They are going through a period of change and seeking a confident all-rounder to join their finance team, with a strong focus on managing the payroll cycle.

The Role

As the Finance & Payroll Officer, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Managing fortnightly payroll (casuals, part-time and full-time)
  • Monitoring, scheduling, and timetables
  • Processing leave entitlements
  • Setting up new employees
  • Payroll reconciliations at month-end
  • Supporting the finance team with AP, AR and reconciliations when needed

Your Background

To become a valued member of the finance team, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Immediately available
  • Experiencing managing end-to-end payroll (preferably 100+ employees)
  • Experience interpreting Awards and EBAs
  • Must be available to work on Fridays
  • Micropay experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Broader transactional accounting experience will be viewed favourably
