Company Background

Join a high-growth, mid-sized professional services group operating across major infrastructure projects. This is a newly available Finance Manager opportunity created through internal movement and will suit a confident Senior Accountant or emerging Finance Manager ready to step up.

The Role

Reporting to an approachable, hands-on CFO/Finance lead, you’ll run core finance operations across multiple entities while the group continues to integrate recent acquisitions and uplift systems and controls.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Lead BAU finance operations across multiple entities as the group integrates acquired businesses
  • Budgeting, forecasting & analysis, including support for board/CFO reporting
  • Audit coordination and support, and uplift of reporting and financial controls
  • Business partnering: work closely with stakeholders to understand needs, challenge assumptions, extract info, and standardise data
  • Drive education and communication around finance policies & procedures; support change management
  • Coach and guide junior team members
  • Help automate and improve workflows
  • Support the systems and ERP transition

Your Background

To be considered for this Finance Manager role, you must possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Be professionally qualified (e.g. CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Have significant experience working in professional services
  • Clear examples of impact (process improvement, controls uplift, system upgrades)
  • Past successes of driving and delivering strategic goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, coupled with an executive presence, to liaise with confidence with a variety of senior stakeholders
