The Role

As the Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with a talented Finance Manager & CFO. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Accounts Payable; local and international payment processing
• GL coding and reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Journal posting; accruals, prepayments
• Fixed asset register maintenance

As you establish yourself within the business, your role will evolve, and you will have the opportunity to take on more duties.

Your Background

In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will possess the following attributes:

• Degree in accounting and ideally pursuing CPA or CA
• Experience performing end-to-end AP tasks (any additional duties will be highly regarded)
• Product or inventory-based industries will be highly regarded
• ERP system exposure
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and Vlookups)
• Excellent communication skills, as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders
