As the Assistant Accountant, you will sit in a corporate head office environment and report to a Finance Manager who enjoys developing and mentoring her team. Your initial duties will include:
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Bank reconciliation and credit card processing
Regulatory compliance – BAS returns and audit processes
Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
Assist in budget processes
As you continue to grow and become more confident, you will be given more responsibilities.
Our client is looking for a candidate with the following criteria:
At least 12 months of accounting experience from a commercial business or business services accounting firm
Accounting Degree qualified with solid academic grades (credit average and above)
Desire to learn, grow and work hard to build your career in accounting
Hold permanent working rights (Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
