Our client is a medium-sized (c. $100m) niche product-based business based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Operating four separate businesses with the group they have a well-established and highly regarded reputation in the industry. Throughout 2023 they have experienced significant growth and have exciting plans for the year ahead. 

This ANZ focused AP Officer role will work as part of a professional and friendly culture with a host of long-standing employees. Northern Beaches office location with parking available on-site and work from home benefits once you are up and running.

The Role

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be joining an experienced finance team and reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This role would begin immediately on a temporary basis with the view to transition to permanency.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): 

• Processing of invoices through the automation system 
• Ensuring monthly review and reconciliation of supplier statements 
• Assistance with the AR side of operations 
• Managing all AP related queries 
• Compiling weekly payment and EFT run 
• Ad hoc duties as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Accounts Payable position, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Immediate availability 
• Degree qualified
• 1-2 years experience in Accounts Payable
• Eagerness to learn new systems and develop skills
• Problem solver that can take on challenges
• Great organisational skills
