The Role

As the Accountant / Bookkeeper, you will work in a small team and report to a Director. Your duties will include:

• Prepare and review financial statements for individuals, Small Businesses, Enterprises, and SMSFs.
• Prepare and review Business Activity Statements.
• Tax preparation and compliance for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and companies.
• Liaise with the ATO.
• Manage and oversee client portfolios.
• Provide excellent service to clients.

Your Background

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:

• They will consider a candidate who is either an Accountant or a Bookkeeper who has previously worked in a local accounting firm.
• Experience with MYOB and Handitax will be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Desire to continue their career within a Public Accounting Firm.
