The Role
The role reports to an excellent finance leader with a wealth of experience in the NFP services sector. As the Senior Management Accountant, you would manage a small team of qualified Accountants.
You will be responsible for:
Recruitment, training and mentoring of your team members
Manage the budgeting & forecasting processes with the operational stakeholders
Prepare specialised reports and presentations to management, Board and Committees, including performance reports and analysis
Develop, and report on service, team and functional KPIs
Develop dashboards consistent with the organisation’s strategy and Corporate KPIs
Balance sheet reconciliations
Debt Management
Revenue management and reporting
Your Background
To be considered for this role you will be a tenured Management Accountant with people management experience. We will also be happy to review Finance Manager profiles who are very strong in the management accounting tasks. Other criteria include:
CA or CPA qualifications are expected so that you can mentor the junior members of your team who are studying toward this
Ability to own the budgeting process for a medium sized business and provide meaningful commentary and reports for stakeholders
Experience creating dashboards and analytics is highly desirable
A background in an NFP or community services organisation previously would also be highly regarded but is not essential
