With bright modern offices and the IT infrastructure that will allow you to work from home two days per week post COVID, this role represents a terrific opportunity for an ambitious Senior Management Accountant.
Reporting to the CFO and with working relationships across both finance and operations, this role has a number of responsibilities including (but not limited to):
Driving the budgeting and forecasting process
Business partnering to communicate and ensure understanding (both ways) of financial information with financial and non-financial stakeholders
Assisting the Chief Finance Officer with the monthly, quarterly and yearly management reporting
Providing important insights and transparency to aid management decision making
Helping to drive business growth by providing meaningful analysis of results
Assist in the integration of new business acquisitions in respect of management reporting requirements
Ongoing involvement in process improvement projects
Assist with M&A work including the preparation of investment cases and financial modelling
As the business continues to expand and develop, there will be opportunities to take on further analytical and potential team leadership functions.
In order to be considered for this Senior Management Accountant and business partnering position you will meet the following criteria:
Be professionally qualified as an Accountant (e.g. CA / CPA / CIMA or equivalent)
Have demonstrable budgeting and forecasting capabilities coupled with a proven analytical mind
Worked in the Insurance industry previously (or closely aligned industry)
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a business partnering demeanor
Ambition and drive to work for an acquisitive business and be involved in M&A work (no prior experience necessary)
Those that have worked in similar roles previously such as a Finance Business Partner, Financial Analyst, FP&A or Management Accountant, are welcome to apply.
