Our client is a well-respected national recruitment brand, with office Australia-wide. They service a variety of industries, with strong leaders throughout the business. Due to a team member going on extended leave, they are currently seeking a talented and experienced Payroll Officer to join the team.
In this Payroll Officer role your duties will include but not be limited to:
Processing weekly contractor pay cycles
Overseeing the self-service timesheeting portal
Checking for inaccuracies and generating reports
First point of contact for Client and Contractor queries
Building internal relationships
Supporting the Payroll Manager with development of junior staff members
To become a valued member of the Payroll team you will have the following experiences and attributes:
2+ years experience within a similar Payroll position
Strong exposure to contractor pay, and interpreting various awards
Prior experience with automated timesheet system will be highly advantageous
Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
Confident communication skills
