Our client is a growing Facilities Management business located in North Ryde. With operations that expand globally, they are now seeking a Payroll Officer to join their finance team. Our client has a supportive working environment and is willing to train and develop its staff. They have a great mentor in place who prides herself in developing her team.

In this position as the Payroll Officer, you will sit in a payroll team and report to a Payroll Manager.
Your duties will include:
Full function weekly payroll for over 600 staff in Australia and New Zealand
Setting up new starters and terminations
Managing timesheet reports and attendance
Learn and interpret award agreements
Use Micropay Meridian software
Assist with PAYG, superannuation and payroll reporting
To be considered for this Payroll Officer position you must possess most of the following attributes:
Approximately 1-2 years of experience in a similar payroll position OR have full function payroll experience in your role as a Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant or Accounts clerk
Desire to work 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
Strong communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Great attention to detail and willingness to learn
Willingness to travel to North Ryde office
