The business has been expanding across its sector in recent years and is now looking for a passionate finance person to work closely with the decision-makers to assist this growth.

This Financial Controller role will have two direct reports and be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
Review of month-end reporting, commentary for each business, working closely with the finance managers to ensure the integrity of the results
Oversight of the annual budgeting process and re-forecasting
Part of the audit, risk and finance committee and the finance representative for meetings
Board reporting and presentation
Point of contact for the auditors
Compliance and reporting to the industry bodies
To be considered for this Financial Controller role you will need to meet the following criteria as directed by our client:
Full CA/CPA qualification
Experience in an industry with strong compliance/governance such as Not-for-profit / Charity, Aged Care, Education, Government, or Healthcare.
Have directly managed at least 2-3 staff
Demonstrated tenure as a Finance Manager or Controller in an SME business with at least 10 years of experience as a qualified Accountant
A passion to work for a community-focused organisation and commitment to the values
Excellent communication skills
