The Company

​Our client is a well-established manufacturer, who provide products to a range of commercial businesses throughout NSW. They have a close-kit and energetic team who are in need of an experienced Finance Manager to lead change and improvements from the top.

The Role

Working closely with the Operations Manager this will be the lead role in Finance. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Weekly and monthly reporting

  • Management accounting (budgeting, forecasting, inventory analysis, costing)

  • Overseeing AP, AR, Banking, Imports and GL

  • Managing and developing a team of 2

  • Identifying areas for process improvements

  • Statutory compliance (GST, Insurance, Super)

  • Business partnering with the Director and Operations

Your Background

To be successful in this Finance Manager role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Prior Senior Finance experience within a Manufacturing business (or a related, inventory-based industry)

  • Less than 1 weeks’ notice

  • Demonstrated business partnering with Operations/Warehousing teams

  • Previous experience in a Small-medium sized business is advantageous

  • Passionate about driving change, and being hands-on

  • Professional qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA etc.)

  • Systems implementation experience is highly advantageous
