Your role as a Commercial Finance Analyst will be a key position in the team. It is a broad based commercial role responsible for providing support to the management team in the achievement of their commercial and financial goals.
Key aspects to this position include (yet, certainly not limited to):
Budgeting, forecasting and analysis
Working with multiple stakeholders (both financial and operational) to develop and implement strategy
Use business intelligence tools (Tabeau) to help drive business decisions
Significant involvement in capital investment work
Business improvement projects
Deliver commercial and analytical support to operations to facilitate profitable and sustainable growth
Support General Managers in Operations, Sales and Finance to review their project profitability and performance
Collaborate with the central finance team to help them with delivering monthly reported results and ensure integrity and accuracy of records
To be considered for this Commercial Finance Analyst role, you should meet one of the two following profiles:
You will be a qualified Accountant (CA / CPA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent)
You may be looking to take your first step out of a chartered / audit firm and into the commercial arena
Equally, you may have worked in a commercial environment and hold a successful track record of achievement
Whichever of the two profiles you belong to above, our client is looking for the following characteristics to shine through:
Proven stakeholder management abilities coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Examples of ‘commercial nous’ to overcome problems, find solutions and demonstrate initiative
Helped clients or stakeholders with process improvement projects
Proficiency in the use of a BI tool (e.g. Tableau or Power BI etc.) would be advantageous however is not a prerequisite.
Those with experience of the above working in similar roles such as; Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, Finance Business Partner are encouraged to apply.
