Finance Systems Transformation Specialist

The Company

Our client is a well-established engineering and technology international organisation operating within a project-driven environment. They are currently seeking to appoint a finance systems professional to support a key transformation initiative across its ANZ operations.

With a strong global presence and a reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects, the business partners with clients across a range of sectors, including industrial, infrastructure, and commercial environments.

The organisation is currently undertaking a significant ERP transformation to better integrate financial, project, and operational data.

The Role

This role will play a key part in supporting the implementation, ensuring alignment with global requirements, while working closely with both local and offshore teams to deliver a smooth rollout.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Support end-to-end ERP implementation across ANZ, ensuring alignment with global requirements
• Coordinate project timelines, track milestones, and escalate risks or delays
• Partner with finance, operations and project teams to support system rollout and process improvements
• Work with large, structured datasets to maintain accurate and consistent reporting
• Assist with data migration and ensure integrity during transition from legacy systems
• Collaborate with internal system specialists to support the delivery of ERP integration
• Liaise with international stakeholders to align with global processes and standards
• Support multi-entity finance processes, including intercompany and multi-currency transactions
• Contribute to financial reporting within a project-based environment, including revenue and cost tracking
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting, and overall efficiency

Your Background

To be considered for this Systems Accountant role, you must have experience with the following:

• Have been part of a system implementation project (ideally have led one in the past)
• Have excellent accounting knowledge, including an accounting qualification
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work with a range of stakeholders
• Experience in using SAP Business One will be highly regarded
